Music has always been an important component of any academic study of the humanities. Most of the music courses offered by the Centre for Humanities are interdisciplinary in nature and usually include a strong historical or cultural studies perspective.
Most courses are crosslisted as both HUMN and MUSI, and collectively they span the sub-fields of classical music, world music, and Western popular music. For more details click on the "Courses" button on the left-hand panel.
